On September 30, 2019, Dr. Lokman A. Abdulkareem -Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Zakho, , has carried out an industrial visit to Zakho city on behalf of president of University of Zakho. The main purpose of the visit was to inaugurate Zakho New Water Sterilization Project. It is worth mentioning that this project was sponsored by GIZ and accomplished by Dastan Company.
